Our client is an FMCG manufacturing company producing everyday consumer goods, including home care, personal care products, and packaged foods/snacks.

We are seeking an R&D Print Packaging Specialist to join their team in Sofia.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in the design, printing, and quality control of packaging materials.
• Manage the process of receiving, testing, and tracking new packaging materials.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department, designers, and pre-press teams to implement new packaging designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to communicate file specifications and ensure proper execution in print.
• Continuously optimize printing quality, production technology, and material costs.
• Research and develop alternative printing and packaging materials based on market trends and company needs.
• Perform comparative analysis of competitor packaging and products.
• Prepress of packaging and print materials

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and willingness for intensive travel within the country and abroad.
• Expert-level proficiency with graphic software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Work experience in pre-press preparation, printing technologies, and color measurement devices
• Work experience in manufacturing and packaging machinery
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Education in Polygraphy, Construction, Industrial Design, and Engineering Education will be considered as an advantage
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team player.
