Zlatna Panega Cement AD, part of TITAN Group and a leading producer of building materials in Bulgaria, is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Quarry department, in the role of:

Тhe Quarries Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and long-term development of the company's quarry and aggregates business. The role encompasses resource management, production optimization, business development, investment evaluation, and the implementation of best-in-class safety and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all quarry operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable extraction and processing activities.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and mining regulations.
• Participate in the design and execution of quarries strategies aligned with the company's operational and business objectives.
• Oversee geological exploration programs, reserve estimation, resource optimization, and Life-of-Quarry planning.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for quarry expansion, new resource development, and aggregates business growth.
• Lead feasibility studies, permitting activities, and technical assessments related to development and investment projects.
• Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost optimization and performance improvement.
• Support business development initiatives through technical due diligence and project evaluation.
• Drive operational excellence, innovation and digitalization initiatives across quarry activities.
• Build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and talent development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mineral Resources Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quarrying, mining, cement, aggregates, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record in quarry development, resource planning, reserve management, and operational optimization.
• Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and project management.
• Sound knowledge of mining legislation, environmental requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
