The Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that products, processes, and documentation meet internal and external quality standards. This position supports the DSS Quality Manager by performing inspections, maintaining compliance documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The technician will be instrumental in supporting medical device quality oversight, SOP/WI adherence, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Testing-
• Perform incoming and outgoing product inspections, including medical devices.
• Conduct Glovia testing and validate checklist completion for compliance.
• Execute new equipment inspections and shipping QC checks.
• Documentation & Compliance-
• Maintain and update SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality documentation.
• Assist in the creation and editing of SOPs/WIs in alignment with ISO13485 standards.
• Ensure proper handling of MEDPOC paperwork and NC/CAPA processes.
• Audit & Quality Oversight-
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to findings.
• Investigate complaints and non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Process Improvement-
• Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Recommend enhancements to quality control procedures and production processes.

Authorities:

• Approve or reject products based on inspection results.
• Escalate quality issues to supervisors or compliance teams.
• Initiate corrective actions and contribute to CAPA documentation.
• Access and update quality documentation systems (e.g., X-Docs, Corporate QMS).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in quality or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in quality control is preferred, especially within medical device or manufacturing settings.
• Familiarity with ISO13485, SOP/WI structures, and quality audit procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
