Rompetrol Bulgaria was established in 2002 and it has a current network of 58 fuel stations across the country and a workforce of over 80 people in the head office and over 440 people in the gas stations that are operated by the dealers. The company, which holds a leading position in Bulgaria in terms of fuel imports, strives for active development in the coming years, including expanding the network and continually improving the service quality.

Rompetrol Bulgaria JSC is currently seeking a QHSE Coordinator to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Main duties and responsabilities:

• Coordinates the Integrated Management System (IMS) on the requirements of the standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018;
• Carry out inspections across gas station network and supervise inspections conducted by the regional coordinators.
• Coordinate production and delivery of uniforms and PPE;
• Ensures the compliance of Rompetrol Bulgaria head office and gas stations with the legal requirements and regulations in Bulgaria; Also supports and monitors the QHSE activities in fuel Depot.
• In close collaboration with government institutions such as Ministry of Environment and Waters, Regional Environmental Inspectorates, Basin Directorates, Fire safety Directorates, Sustainable Energy Development Agency and others across the country.
• Coordinates activities of people in charge with QHSE within the allocated work offices and gas stations concerning the management of process-specific procedures and instructions;
• Supervise permits for fresh water withdraw and waste water discharge with the respective annual environmental monitoring.
• Prepare and submit reports on waste and freons for all locations.
• Reports various QHSE data to local Management and QHSE Group;
• Participate in preparation of yearly sustainability report /ESG /on Group level and yearly reports on ETS2 in compliance with Climate change mitigation act

Job Requirements:

• Completed Master’s degree in a technical field;
• Two or more years of experience in health, safety and environment activities and quality standarts
• Excellent command of written and spoken English;
• Indepth knowledge of the occupational health and safety legislatation and environmental legislation;
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, priority setting and time management skills;
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse workforce, including all levels of management, contractor/vendors, and personnel.
