We are looking for the right person for the following vacancy :
Python Test Automation Engineer
Job Description
· Drive forward testing processes and be an ambassador for automation testing · Support development of tools and simulators, development of the automated test framework, and lead the creation and execution of automated tests · Creation and update of Test Specifications to support in V&V activities · Author and review of formal test documentation · Lead results reporting and analysis and support defects investigation as they arise to support in their swift resolution · Coordinate with other engineering functions and help solve problems as they arise. This includes a pro-active collaboration with requirement engineers, developers and architects to progress on the daily tasks. · Participate in the usual Agile ceremonies as well as any required technical meeting · Review and recommend test process improvements. · Support the professional development of more junior colleagues on continuous and regular basis.
Qualifications
Key Skills:
· Bachelor/Master Degree in Informatics, Computer systems, Automatics, Electronics, etc. · Strong Python coding skills and sufficient experience in pytest · Practical experience with Git and different branching strategies · 5+ years of experience with test automation and automation frameworks, test environment design and development · Experience in test design and best practices in software and system testing · Knowledge in Software Development process and Fundamental Test Process · Knowledge in Bash and C/C++ is an advantage · Basic knowledge in Hardware is a plus · ISTQB certification will be considered as a plus · Excellent written and communication skills in English. German language is a plus · Ability to travel abroad
