For our client, a global food manufacturing company, one of the leaders in its field, with a modern production facility in Bulgaria, we are looking for an ambitious, independent, and motivated professional for the mission of:

The Major Responsibilities Include:
- Organization of the process in area of responsibility – assignment of workers to working places, ensuring all raw, semi finished and packing materials for the corresponding process and its proper recording in the ERP system with the aim to achieve the planed volume in planed time. Inform the
- Production Planer of any divergences from the established plans and norms.
- Development, motivation and performance assessment of the subordinates: proposing compensations with the aim of the optimum team and individual performance.
- Monitoring of the process in area of responsibilities and reporting corresponding Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensuring quality of products and maximum efficiency of the processes in area of responsibility at minimum costs.
- Co-operate during new product and process development.
- Continuous improvement: participate in CIP work groups; report any technical problems in the installations; invite subordinates to continuously seek improvements; make suggestions for improvements and pass on the suggestions made by the subordinates.
- Identify the training needs of the subordinates and participate in development of training initiatives.
- Control raw and pack materials flow in the production area, and perform a monthly revision of all materials used.
- Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; raise questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue; apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct;
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in food or drinks production;
- Experience in a high-complexity and highly dynamic environment requiring mindful use of resources, quick thinking and efficient prioritizing;
- Experience in managing and developing a team of shop-floor workers of various background and expertise;
- University degree, ideally in technical and food industry;
- Detailed knowledge and practical experience with ISO, GMP, HACCP principles;
- Competence in production technologies, as well as organization of working process, production volume planning etc.;
- Leadership in terms of managing and developing people to achieve production goals, while keeping up morale and building a culture of accountability, discipline and entrepreneurship;
- Fluency in English would be considered a bonus;
