We are now expanding beyond Amazon and developing two new engines for future growth.
To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Specialist to source and manage the suppliers behind every product—from raw materials and ingredients to packaging—while ensuring competitive costs, consistent quality, and reliable supply.
You will own purchasing across local, EU, and overseas suppliers. Your responsibilities will include finding and qualifying new suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, placing and managing purchase orders, and maintaining dependable supply as we scale our brands and B2B business.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing and Qualification — Identify, evaluate, and qualify local, EU, and overseas suppliers of ingredients, raw materials, and packaging.
Commercial Negotiations — Negotiate prices, payment and delivery terms, quality standards, product specifications, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
Purchase Order Management — Prepare, place, and monitor purchase orders, ensuring the accuracy of quantities, prices, specifications, and delivery dates.
Supplier Performance — Monitor and improve supplier quality, reliability, responsiveness, and on-time delivery.
Quality and Compliance — Coordinate food-safety, quality, regulatory, certification, specification, and documentation requirements with suppliers and internal teams.
Packaging and Private-Label Sourcing — Source packaging and private-label solutions in coordination with business development, product, and production-planning teams.
Cost Analysis — Analyse quotations, total purchasing costs, and commercial terms to support informed procurement decisions.
Supplier Relationship Management — Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
Supply-Risk Management — Identify potential supply disruptions and develop alternative sources and mitigation plans.
Cross-Functional Planning — Work closely with production, logistics, quality, sales, and business development teams to align purchasing with operational and commercial needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience — At least five years of professional experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the food, FMCG, ingredients, packaging, or manufacturing sectors.
Sourcing Expertise — Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard new suppliers.
Negotiation Skills — Strong commercial negotiation skills with a focus on cost, quality, reliability, and long-term value.
Quality Awareness — Practical understanding of quality assurance, food-safety standards, product specifications, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Systems and Analysis — Confidence using ERP or purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and cost-analysis tools.
Language — Fluency in English is mandatory.
Communication — Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international suppliers and internal teams.
Organization — Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with close attention to detail.
Problem-Solving — A proactive, ownership-driven approach and the ability to resolve supply, quality, cost, and delivery challenges.
Adaptability — The ability to manage multiple purchasing projects and priorities in a fast-paced, growing international business.
Nice to Have:
Industry Experience — Previous procurement experience in the food, FMCG, ingredients, packaging, or manufacturing sectors.
International Sourcing — Experience working with EU and overseas suppliers across different markets and supply chains.
Packaging and Private-Label Experience — Familiarity with sourcing packaging materials or developing private-label solutions.
Food-Safety and Certification Knowledge — Exposure to food-safety standards, supplier certifications, product specifications, and compliance documentation.
