Main responsibilities: Key responsibilities involve market research, negotiation purchasing agreements/materials and management of deliveries, risk assessment, and collaborating with internal teams to align procurement business and terms with business goals.
- Actively communicate with vendors, construction teams, subcontractors, and other involved in the process;
- Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers, identify potential suppliers, and purchase goods and services that meet quality, price, and delivery requirements;
- Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage vendor performance to ensure contractual compliance and a steady flow of goods;
- Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Streamline purchasing and workflow to increase efficiency;
- Management of the purchasing related project’s documentation: notices, change orders, additional cross-team coordination, payment requisitions, etc.;
- Follows strictly the scope of projects/works and contract requirements, budget constraints and cash flow of the project;
- Ensuring resource availability and on time deliveries;
- Determination of equipment and supplies requirements;
- Evaluate suppliers based on products, services, and prices, assess supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and service;
- Identify and eliminate waste and/or variability in the supply chain;
- Conduct risk assessments, ensure purchases adhere to company policies and legal regulations, and help maintain supply chain stability.
Successful candidate is:
- A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, business, finance, or a related field (also possible are: Electrical Engineer, Technical);
- Has at least 2 years in the field of Procurement Logistics;
- Possess strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills;
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and a large number of tasks effectively;
- Proficiency with procurement software and tools is often necessary;
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting is also beneficial;
- Experience in the relevant industry is a plus;
- Experience with power generation facilities will be considered an advantage;
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other European Union languages considered a strong advantage);
- Has attention to detail and multitasking skills.
