The Role

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and hands-on Processing and Warehouse Director to lead the operations of our global Distribution Center in Ravno Pole, Bulgaria. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of warehouse and processing operations, overseeing a range of value-added services, and ensuring timely, high-quality output that supports our e-commerce platform.

What You'll Do

Operational Management

• Oversee together with direct reports (site middle management) all aspects of daily warehouse and processing operations, including goods receipt, triage and sorting, quality inspection and features description, photography and item listing, packaging, inventory control, and order fulfillment
• Review and optimize workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and processes, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.

Team Leadership

• Oversee organizational structure at the facility, revisiting current roles and reporting structures and defining new ones
• Recruit, train, and manage cross-functional teams with a total of 300+ people, including warehouse staff, quality inspectors, photographers, and process engineers
• Create and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and team engagement
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development plans

Quality Assurance

• Implement and oversee a best-in-class quality management system, in compliance with ISO 9001 standards
• Establish, keep up to date and enforce SOPs for all processes on site
• Take ownership for overall quality on site, in collaboration with Operations Quality Assurance Director

Technology & Inventory Systems

• Manage and improve the use of various information systems on site (WMS, ERP, etc.), identifying opportunities for continuous improvements and liaising with other company teams to get these improvements implemented
• Oversee real-time inventory accuracy and integrity across platforms

Strategic Planning & Reporting

• Collaborate with executive leadership and other teams on capacity planning, budgeting, and performance targets
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive decision-making and process improvements
• Prepare and present regular reports on productivity, costs, quality and other key metrics

What You'll Need

Required:

• At least Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of management experience in a distribution center, fulfillment center, or light manufacturing/ assembly facility
• Demonstrated success in managing complex operations and large diverse teams
• Experience with value-added services such as product inspection, photography, and reverse logistics
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:

• Background in FMCG or e-commerce fulfillment
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Familiarity with ERP systems, WMS, and online listing platforms (e.g., Shopify, eBay, Amazon)
