For our client, we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to take part on the challenging role of:
PAYROLL MANAGER
The Mission: To lead and manage the payroll team’s operations in a high-velocity and high-volume environment based on the company’s overall strategy. To be involved in and actively support the implementation of new and/or improved payroll processes, procedures and workflows.

The Major Responsibilities Include:
- Participation in implementation and enforcing the company's overall strategy regarding processes related to the management and administration of remuneration and time data of employees.
- Introducing and ensuring compliance with international processes and work standards.
- Creating and updating company policies and procedures in accordance with Bulgarian legislation and the company's objectives, ensuring their compliance.
- Developing and implementing sustainable and effective solutions to improve and optimize existing processes.
- Initiating and managing projects related to the introduction of new processes.
- Ensure successful collaboration with HR Administration team regarding common topics and projects.
- Motivating, developing and training the team to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Organizing, coordinating and prioritizing the daily work of the team and all activities related to the overall process of preparing remuneration - administration of absences, processing of working hours, accrual of bonuses, benefits, deductions, etc.
- Ensuring data quality in all relevant systems.
- Ensuring the quality of employee documents.
- Preparation and provision of the information required under the current legislation to the National Social Insurance Institute, National Revenue Agency and other institutions.
- Processing, calculation and overall administration of remuneration, including preparation and maintenance of the necessary documentation for employees falling under a certain management level.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management
- Experience with relevant HR Systems, knowledge of SAP HR will be considered as a strong advantage
- Experience in project management and implementing new processes
- Completed higher education
- Detailed knowledge of the current labor, tax and social security legislation and specifics of time management
- Knowledge of implementing and managing HR software solutions
- Working proficiency in English; German language is a plus
- Advanced computer skills (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides)
- Very good communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent ability to prioritize
