For one of our clients – a leading software development company and award-winning game provider in the casino industry, creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences as part of an international tech group, we are on a lookout for confident and energetic people for the role – Payroll and Compliance Specialist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for our Bulgarian team accurately and on time;
• Ensure compliance with Bulgarian labour, tax, and social security laws;
• Calculate and remit taxes, social security, and other statutory contributions;
• Handle employee payroll inquiries in Bulgarian and English, resolving issues quickly;
• Prepare regular payroll reports and collaborate with auditors or authorities as needed
• Support HR and Finance on special cases like leave, maternity/paternity, and terminations.

Requirements:

• Proven payroll experience in Bulgaria with knowledge of local laws and regulations;
• Strong skills in payroll systems and Excel, with attention to detail;
• Accurate, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently;
• Excellent communication in Bulgarian and English;
• Problem-solver who can interpret and apply legislative changes
• Еxperience with global payroll or multi-country operations is a plus.
