Order Management Specialist, Automotive The Order Management Specialist will have the overall responsibility for proactive order management with logistics flow towards our Automotive and Industrials customers (focus on Automotive) as well our EMS and Distribution partners in EMEA. This position has primary focus on proactive Orderbook Management for our European customer base, also utilizing EDI, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationship with our international customers. As the face to the customer, the role demands excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and fluency in English.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilize “best practice” for and propose “best practice” in the Order Management Process by leveraging the capabilities of MS Dynamics.
  • Proactive management of customer order entry, order change and deliveries either manually or with support of EDI means
  • Customer interaction to achieve continuity of orderbook on individual products and regular communication of lead times
  • Manage challenges while processing orders with respective stakeholders as e.g. avoiding / solving customer credit holds or questions on pricing / incoterms with Account Receivables and Sales / Sales Assistant
  • Maintaing Customer Master Data (Delivery Addresses, Incoterms, etc)?
  • Support implementation of EDI
  • Regular alignment with customers on order backlog status
  • Regular performance reviews on Logistics considering relevant KPI, defining and driving corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish concepts / Support evaluation of concepts and drive implementation to improve logistics service and customer satisfaction


Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Sales Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role, with a strong focus on customer support and order management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (MS Dynamics or similar), EDI and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and logistics for Automotive & Industrial customers, EMS and Distributors
  • Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Fluent English, further major European Languages will be of advantage as customers are located across Europe.
