Operational Buyer – Indirect Procurement
The Operational Buyer is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities for indirect goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with company policies and processes.

The Operational Buyer is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities for indirect goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with company policies and processes.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Execute the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process from purchase requisition creation to purchase order issuance, including delivery and deadline tracking.
- Work with SAP and other procurement tools to process orders, monitor order status, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve any supply or invoicing issues.
- Conduct price and offer comparisons for small-scale spend areas, supporting negotiation and supplier selection.
- Manage procurement processes in compliance with company policies, from request to payment.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, especially Finance, to ensure budget alignment and correct invoice handling.
- Liaise with German-speaking stakeholders and requestors, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Maintain supplier master data and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and provide input for supplier evaluations.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- ≥1-2 years’ experience in a similar position and industry
- Proficiency in SAP and solid knowledge of the P2P process.
- Strong communication skills with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiation and analytical skills for comparing offers in smaller spend categories.
- Knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process from request to payment.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
