With reference to our Purchasing Department we are looking for:
New Projects Buyer
Your job:
- Responsible for the management, organization and coordination of purchasing activities for the new and redesign products.
- Continuously optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
- Create and regularly adjust cost saving projects via defined system/application.
- Supervise implementation of sub-category strategies for key product groups into novelty/redesign projects.
- Conduct RFQ processes, review bids and select suppliers.
- Acts as main interface between Purchasing Department and the R&D Department in the process of product development (from the concept phase till the implementation of the new product in mass production).
- Monitors target costs for all new and replacement parts.
- Responsible for ordering trial series, pilot series and initial stock.
- Organize and release the defined sampling process for the given materials and components.
- Organizes and controls technical and logistics claims of deliveries in close cooperation with Quality and Logistics Departments.
- Development of effective solutions to supply chain problems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree – technical field will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German will be considered as an advantage.
- Advanced user of MS Office.
- Previous experience into the field of sourcing of electronic components or PCB’s will be considered as an advantage
- SAP experience will be considered as an advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven work experience on the same or similar position.
- Proven professional experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural team and environment.
- Professional experience in production company will be considered as an advantage.
- Capable of making fast decisions and taking responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment.
- Result orientated.
- Focused on the added value for the internal and/or external clients.
- Team player, able to work in a multicultural environment.
- Thinking out of the box, creativity and continuous improvement attitude.
- Flexible, adaptable, open to meet the change and acquire new knowledge and skills.
