Mobile QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with automation and mobile testing experience to join our growing engineering team!

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify bugs early, ensure test coverage is strong, and deliver smooth, bug-free releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and maintain automated tests for iOS, Android, and APIs.
• Build and expand our test automation framework using WebdriverIO, Appium, and Cucumber.
• Perform regression and integration testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute API testing using Postman and create validation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to investigate and report bugs.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation can't reach.
• Contribute to test planning, requirement reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
• Help evolve our QA strategy and improve test coverage, reliability, and speed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in QA, with experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Mandatory experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation is required.
• Mandatory experience with JavaScript automation tools.
• Proven experience using Postman and writing test scripts.
• Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proven experience debugging failed or broken deployments within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with WebdriverIO is preferred; Selenium-based automation experience is also acceptable.
• Experience using AI tools for test automation, with the ability to understand, adapt, and debug AI-generated code.
• Daily work experience on MacOS systems is required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Cucumber or BDD frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or AWS Device Farm is a plus.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Previous experience in a startup, fintech, or fast-paced environment is a plus.
