Mid or Senior Python Data Engineer Sofia/hybrid Highly competitive salary and bonus and unbeatable benefits package

The client is a leading financial group and Forbes2000 member. The company provides services in multiple domains, including Anti-Money Laundering, Accounts controlling, Business Solutions Competence, Credits, Financing, and other business domains. Since 2021 the group has been going through enhanced digital transformation, demanding software development, QA, AI, Cyber Security and other IT solutions.
Requirements: · Python and/or Pyspark for data engineering or analysis. · Git or another version control system. · Process management: monitoring processes to ensure smooth operations. · Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise to maintain smooth running pipelines. · Metadata management: laying out the foundations for new data sets. · Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably AWS). · Strong communication: you easily communicate with different stakeholders (scrum master, peer data engineers, business client, infrastructure and other interface teams, etc.).
Other knowledge and experience, as listed below, are ‘nice to have’ but a big plus if you already have experience in one or more of these tools. At least you should have big interest and the willingness to learn these things. · Performance tuning: queries, PySpark, AWS. · Writing Airflow pipelines in Python (or other orchestration tools). · SQL – experience in interacting with and building relational structures. · Basic understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) · AWS Cloud: Lambda functions, S3.
