For our long-term partner SAP Ariba we are looking for SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing Support Engineer - an individual with an academic professional qualification and with at least 2 years of industry or functional skills in specific application area. Consultant gathers facts, analyzes the clients business processes and draws conclusions. The Consultant prepares the design of the solution and demonstrates the design to support the findings and conclusions. Contributes by analyzing clients business processes and performs configuration work and assists clients in testing cycles.
Responsibilities:
Align and work closely with the Customer Success Partners to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.Build and foster customer relationships to drive customer success and solution adoption.Actively engage in resolving and managing P2 issues (tickets), Feature Activation and Enhancement requests, work progress tracking, and future de-escalation planning by recommending appropriate services from the Preferred Success portfolio.Develop an understanding of customer-specific architecture, processes, configuration, landscape, and pain points; provide guidance to internal teams where necessary.Build partnerships with global internal teams and work closely with the dedicated global pool of resources to drive resolution for customer challenges.Possess the necessary attitude, technical & functional skill set and aptitude to troubleshoot application and integration issues as and when required to provide superior customer experience Ariba Solution Focus.Get a clear understanding of any technical/functional issue in the application that is being experienced and reported by our customers and triage requests where necessary.Assess functional/technical issues and develop system solutions for the deployment and ongoing support of Ariba cloud/On Demand based products and solutions.Develop functional and technical expertise for new features and functionality.Deliver expert solution support assistance to address current project difficulties and major product issues/gaps.Collaborate with SAP Ariba professionals to deploy a holistic analysis approach to complex and cross-component system platform issues.Skills and Competencies:
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Sciences (computer, natural, technical) or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience with any object-oriented language (Java/C#/C++)Knowledge of HTTP, HTML and XMLBasic understanding of web and network security standards and protocols (SSL, SSO, HTTPS, certificates is an advantageSolution expertise in features, functionality and applicability of the entire Ariba solution portfolio, including Buying & Invoicing (P2X), Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, SAP Business Network (Ariba Network), Cloud Integration Gateway)High level of attention to detail, sense of urgency/follow-throughRelationship management builds trust, ability to address critical issues and deescalate, manage/set appropriate boundaries and expectationsGood consulting skills, including written/verbal communication in English and teamwork SupplementsCurrent certification in any of the Ariba solutions (SAP Ariba Procurement, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Contracts, SAP Ariba SLP, Cloud Integration Gateway, etc.) is a strong advantageBenefits:
