Main responsibilities of the position:
- Legal services to UBB's units on related to payment products and services and legal issues related to the creation, implementation and digitalization of non-credit products, as well as their distribution in the branch network of the bank, including consultations, opinions, work on internal bank and client documents (contracts, general terms and conditions, etc.);
- Consultations of the employees of UBB's branch network in relation to delegations of clients, successions, client legitimation;
- Legal assistance for responses to complaints, inquiries, etc., by clients of the bank and control bodies related to the activities of the bank's business units, related to UBB's non-lending activities;
- Providing legal representation of the Bank in claims arising from the activities of the banking units (with an emphasis on cases related to payment transactions and disputes under the applicable payment legislation).
- Follow-up of the current legislation and assistance in its implementation in the Bank's activities; preparation and coordination of internal regulatory documents;
- Participation of different legal opinion related to the above stated topics.
Main responsibilities of the position:
- Master's degree in law with acquired legal capacity
- 2 years of legal experience; working in a credit or financial institution is an advantage
- Satisfactory level in English, including legal English
- Good comprehensive legal literacy – knowledge in the field of family and inheritance law, commercial and contract law, civil procedure. Knowledge of banking regulations and local and European regulations governing payment services and their digital implementation are competitive advantage
- Ability to think analytically and innovatively
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy – good knowledge of MS Office, specialized legal software and applications supporting information processing.
