Main responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of large-scale contracts in the solar construction industry, requiring cross-country coordination between various stakeholders;
• Guiding management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations in the industry in Bulgaria and abroad;
• Undertake various research projects directly or through our partners, including different legislations regulatory frameworks, contractual matters, marketing terms and conditions, regional data protection and privacy laws;
• Provide advice to the business teams on the applicable legal and regulatory framework in the relevant territories;
• Providing general legal advice on day-to-day operational matters;
• Assist Development, Construction, EPC and the other supporting functions by providing advice in the normal course of business;
• Study the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and industry regulations;
• Identify transactional risks of potential investments and propose commercial terms to mitigate said risk;
• Assist with the know-how, professional development and knowledge management needs of the Legal Department.

We are looking for someone who has:

• University degree in Law;
• Experience in the construction business in Bulgaria (especially experience in Spatial Development Act) OR managing long-term investment, construction or renewable energy/(EPC) contracts internationally- essential requirement;
• Business English and experience in contract drafting in English language;
• Strong research skills and focus on detail;
• Availability for short business trips;
• Managing simultaneously more than one project;
• Team player;
• Wants to develop in the field of photovoltaic systems.
