L2 Support Engineer (Linux/SQL)

Your daily routine would include:
- Administer, monitor and maintain the supported systems in operation within the required parameters (availability, performance);
- Support testing and production environments, deploy builds and fixes, sanity testing and troubleshooting;
- Prepare and execute tasks related to billing/rating/batch processing;
- Monitor application servers and workload;
- Handle incidents (analyze logs, errors handling, finding resolutions or workarounds within the specified SLAs/OLAs);
- Work with ticketing system to resolve reported problems or submit such to responsible units in case of failures or tasks;
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports;
- SOX controls execution;
- Develop tools/scripts to automate routine operational tasks;
- Ability to take up on-call shifts;
- Maintain system documentation.
- At least 1 year of working experience in monitoring/reporting/supporting applications;
- SQL Knowledge (Oracle) is a must;
- Unix/Linux experience is a must;
- University degree in the field of IT/Telecommunication or any other relevant;
- Fluency in English – written and spoken.
- Any knowledge and/or experience with UC4 (Automic), Job Scheduling;
- Advanced Scripting Knowledge e.g. Perl, Python, Shell, Kshell etc.;
- ITIL (Incident-, Problem-, Change-, Deployment-, Event-Management);
- Knowledge of 2-tier or 3-tier applications – J2EE servers and applications experience;
- Fluency in German.
