For one of our clients - a Leading Pharmaceutical Company, we are looking for a driven professional for the mission of KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER for Eastern Bulgaria (Varna OR Burgas)!
Their mission is to develop and manage strategic relationships with key healthcare accounts to achieve sustainable sales growth and long-term partnership value. Focus on understanding customer needs, drive value-based solutions, and execute account strategies in line with company objectives, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations.

Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for assigned key accounts (e.g., hospitals, healthcare networks, key clinics, pharmacies etc.).
- Build and maintain strong, ethical relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, hospital administrators, key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
- Drive sales performance by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts where applicable, and ensuring optimal product positioning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, marketing, market access, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated account solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive intelligence to inform account strategies.
- Ensure effective product launches, adoption, and ongoing performance within key accounts.
- Manage account budgets, forecasts, and reporting accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry codes of practice, and local regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company professionally at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Health management or other related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 3–7 years) in pharmaceutical sales or key account management.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, healthcare systems, and excellent network of contacts in the region.
- Exposure to pulmonology, otolaryngology, pediatrics, infectious diseases would be a plus but is not a must.
- Very good computer skills - MS Office, Word, Excel, Internet.
- Intermediate level of English language.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and long-term partnerships.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
