The Junior Accountant will be responsible for recording journal entries, processing payments, preparing reports and improving processes. This is a temporary, full time role.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Release client and vendor payments
  • Prepare reports for the management
  • Work on improving the efficiency of existing processes
  • Assist the senior accountants with various one-off tasks
  • Participate in the transition of processes from other teams to the Bulgarian office
  • Update and perform cash reconciliations
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Perform other assignments


Requirements:

  • Educational requirements: High school degree or higher
  • Accounting or Finance degree / student in Accounting or Finance;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Computer proficient - must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and meet daily benchmarks/deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Determine priorities and follow up in a timely fashion
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
