ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate daily records of business transactions in compliance with IFRS.
  • Prepare and process payment orders for suppliers and government institutions.
  • Manage accounting functions, including revenue and asset accounting.
  • Ensure precise documentation and analysis of revenues and expenses.
  • Generate reports on account balances, supplier transactions and customer accounts upon request and in line with Internal control standards.
  • Keep constant communication with business for the purposes of smooth daily inquiries.
  • Support the timely completion and submission of tasks related to audit, financial statements and controls from revenue authorities.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation.
  • University degree/Secondary school in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Good skills in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • SAP knowledge
