We are seeking a career minded and motivated individual to join the Accounting department in our Sofia based office, which operates as a back office.
Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Release client and vendor payments
- Prepare reports for the management
- Work on improvement of the efficiency of existing processes
- Assist the senior accountants with various of one-off tasks
- Participate in the transition of processes from other teams to the Bulgarian office
- Update and perform cash reconciliations
- Complete special projects as needed
Requirements
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Accounting or Finance degree / student in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficient – must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and meet daily benchmarks/ deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic business environments
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Determine priorities and follow up in a timely fashion
Working Hours:40/week, Monday–Friday. Hybrid: 3 days in-office.
