About the Role: Eurobank Bulgaria is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Management Accounts, IFRS Reporting & Methodology to lead our financial reporting, accounting policy, and management accounting functions. This pivotal role ensures compliance with IFRS standards, enhances financial governance, and provides insightful management reporting to drive business performance.

1. Management Accounting & Group Reporting
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of all financial reports for Eurobank Bulgaria AD and its subsidiaries, serving as the official source of financial information.
- Ensure the prompt and precise delivery of official financial data and reports for the Bank’s Management, different boards of directors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership, supporting key business decisions.
2. IFRS Reporting & Accounting Methodology
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards in all financial reporting processes.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine accounting policies in line with IFRS and industry best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor on IFRS-related matters, providing expert opinions and guidance on accounting treatments and methodologies.
- Serve as the primary coordinator and liaison for all external financial audits.
- Oversee the preparation, audit, and timely submission of IFRS statutory financial statements and notes.
3. Financial Governance & Process Optimization
- Drive the accuracy, automation, and efficiency of financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Bank’s management, Group Finance, and Local Finance departments to align financial strategies and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, promoting structured data integration and streamlining financial operations.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reporting, management accounting, and IFRS compliance, preferably within the banking sector.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Prior audit experience is advantageous.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
