We are currently seeking a German-speaking Senior Java Developer to join our dedicated team supporting our partner. Our partner is a leading company in the German direct banking market, offering online securities for modern investors, alongside a full spectrum of services in private customer solutions, brokerage, banking, and advisory. With operations in both B2C and B2B segments, the company serves over 3 million customers with its products and services.

The teams primary responsibility is to support internal IT departments across their projects by delivering high-quality development and testing services. This includes migrating automation jobs written in C to a modern Java framework, ensuring full functional equivalence, performance stability, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and integrate solutions in an internal Java framework, conforming to defined acceptance criteria
• Participate in architecture discussions
• Prepare test data and write unit/integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Analyse legacy functionality and define acceptance criteria for its migration
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
• Code reviews of team members
• Mentorship of junior team members
• Process documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
• Excellence of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and JUnit
• Excellence of SQL
• Good knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Linux
• German (B2 level)
• English (B2 level)
