General Ledger Accountant – Office X, Sofia, Bulgaria We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Office X, Sofia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage and process fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Process inter-company transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage foreign currency revaluation and translation.
  • Oversee inventory valuation and management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Your Profile

Technical & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with fixed assets accounting
  • Previous experience and solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365) is a strong advantage
