Our client is a private debt fund manager, looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team in Bulgaria. Key Responsibilities: Finance:

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with fund administrators
• Oversee capital calls and distribution processes
• Review invoices, accruals, and monthly/quarterly NAVs
• Develop performance metrics and support internal reporting
• Handle intragroup expense reconciliations and fund accounts payable
• Review regulatory returns and support annual audit processes
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare financial statements
• Support the investment team with ad-hoc finance analysis
• Contribute to the internalization of processes previously outsourced

Operations:

• Track and reconcile expenses with fund administrator data
• Calculate and manage portfolio and management fees
• Respond to investor queries and assist with compliance

Your Profile:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, small-team environment
• Excellent Excel skills and strong communication abilities
• Exposure to private equity or private debt structures is a plus
• Experience working with or at a fund administrator is an advantage
• Experience with Anaplan is a plus
• Proactive, hands-on mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
