The Financial Controller will contribute to building a reliable and structured finance function in a fast-growing scale-up environment, ensuring accurate and timely closing, high-quality reporting, and strong control over financial processes. As the company continues to scale, many processes are still evolving, requiring a hands-on approach, strong ownership, and the ability to bring structure and clarity. The Financial Controller acts as the key link between the business, external accountants, and management, ensuring financial data reflects the operational reality of a dynamic and growing organization.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting by coordinating and reviewing the work of the external accounting firm, owning the month-end close process, and supporting decision-making through financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary POC for the external accounting firm; guide, review, and validate their deliverables;
• Own and coordinate the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financials;
• Deliver timely and reliable management reporting;
• Ensure strong financial controls, documentation, and audit readiness;
• Improve finance processes related to closing, reporting, and control;
• Analyze budget vs actuals and explain key variances;
• Support the Head of Finance with cash flow monitoring and forecasting;
• Provide analytical support for budgeting and forecasting processes;tyIdentify cost drivers, trends, and financial risks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting with 5+ years’ experience in controlling or senior accounting;
• Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience (Big 4 is an advantage);
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership;
• Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
