Grove Global Consult is a consulting and recruitment agency providing strategic consulting and talent acquisition services to companies worldwide. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional for the position of Financial Accountant & Reporting Specialist. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on experience with month-end closing processes, and the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to support business decisions.
Main Tasks & Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations
- Manage core accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing financial insights and recommendations;
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions;
- Communicate with suppliers and ensure reconciliation of supplier and customer balances;
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations of balances and revenue/cost transactions within the Group;
- Support the Finance Manager and Chief Accountant during financial and tax audits, as well as in other finance-related activities when required.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, internal policies, and financial controls;
- Ensure tax and statutory compliance;
- Perform detailed balance sheet and P&L analysis and explain variances.
Financial Reporting & Data Analysis
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders;
- Analyze financial and operational data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support business decisions;
- Participate in the monthly and year-end closing of financial accounts in line with established schedules and deadlines.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
- 4–6 years of experience in a similar position; previous audit experience will be considered an advantage;
- Very good level of English – both written and spoken;
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Bulgarian tax legislation;
- Excellent computer literacy and very good Excel skills;
- Experience with Oracle applications will be considered an advantage.
