We invite you to become part of our team as a Field Service Manager

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Planning, organizing, and overseeing all service-related activities, including installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of equipment. This involves scheduling work orders, coordinating with clients and team members, managing resources and tools, and ensuring timely and efficient execution. Additionally, it includes managing warranty claims and post-warranty service contracts to ensure ongoing support and customer satisfaction.
  • Installation: Executing the precise installation of new equipment or machinery at customer sites in strict accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines. This process includes preparing the site, conducting pre-installation assessments, calibrating and configuring equipment, testing functionality, and providing initial operational instructions to clients. Ensuring minimal disruption to the customer's operations during installation is also a key focus.
  • Maintenance: Performing regular routine maintenance tasks such as inspections, lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and component replacements to prevent equipment malfunctions. This involves developing and following maintenance schedules based on manufacturers' recommendations and industry best practices to maintain optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan. Additionally, tracking maintenance history and notifying clients of upcoming maintenance needs.
  • Repair: Diagnosing complex technical problems through systematic troubleshooting, utilizing diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical knowledge. Implementing effective repair solutions, which may include component replacements, reconfigurations, or software updates, to restore equipment to optimal working condition. Documenting the issues encountered, repairs performed, and parts replaced to maintain accurate service records and facilitate future troubleshooting.
  • Training: Delivering comprehensive, hands-on training sessions to customers and internal staff on proper equipment operation, routine maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices. Developing training materials, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides tailored to different skill levels to empower users and reduce future service requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintaining thorough and accurate records of all service activities, including detailed reports of site assessments, installation procedures, maintenance routines, repairs, and upgrades. Ensuring documentation complies with company and regulatory standards, updating manuals and service logs, and recording any modifications or improvements made to the equipment.
  • Customer Support: Providing professional and responsive assistance to customers by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests. Maintaining clear communication throughout the service process, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Following up after service visits to confirm issues are resolved and offering additional guidance as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all installation, maintenance, and repair activities adhere strictly to relevant safety regulations, standards, and protocols. Conducting risk assessments prior to work, using appropriate personal protective equipment, following lockout/tag out procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Our requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or energy engineering;
  • Proficiency in understanding technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong knowledge of relevant software applications and diagnostic tools such as test equipment, troubleshooting equipment;
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effectively conveying technical information to clients and colleagues;
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and schedules.
  • Attention to Detail: Being detail-oriented is crucial for accurately diagnosing problems, following
procedures, and ensuring quality workmanship;
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to prioritize
tasks and meet service deadlines effectively;
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members, such as engineers, technicians, and customer service representatives, to address complex issues and deliver comprehensive solutions;
  • Any certifications from relevant organizations or manufacturers may be in advance. Certifications in specific equipment or technologies like PLCs, HVAC, ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS or MEDICAL equipment could be advantageous;
  • Readiness for frequent business trips;
