Responsibilities
- Support, further develop, and optimize the Microsoft 365 F&O ERP system and later Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (planned ERP transition).
- Configure, maintain, and further develop ERP system modules.
- Analyze departmental requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement process improvements in collaboration with business departments.
- Manage and support ERP projects from requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Conduct system tests, ensure quality assurance, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Customize, configure, and integrate modules based on business needs.
- Work closely with internal and external IT development teams and service providers.
- Create and maintain training materials and deliver user trainings.
- Provide 1st‑ and 2nd‑level support for internal ERP users.
- Support system integrations with other applications.
- Identify and manage data integrations to enable automation and scalability.
- Support and troubleshoot workflows, batch jobs, and user access across all system environments.
- Ensure compliance with security roles, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with strong IT affinity.
- Very good understanding of accounting processes and their integration within ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly within commercial modules and related business processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 F&O is an advantage, as it is the current ERP system in use.
- Proven experience in the implementation and rollout of ERP systems.
- Very good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Open to changes, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Confident, proactive, and results‑driven, with the ability to deliver high‑quality work within set timeframes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including the ability to quickly identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels and across functions; clear, concise communication and strong analytical thinking are essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
