For one of our clients – a worldwide leader in eco-friendly freight handling solutions for ports, terminals, distribution centers, and heavy industry, we are on a lookout for confident and energetic people for the role - Entry-Level Cash Application Expert.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve discrepancies and answer
inquiries regarding payments;
  • Assist in generating regular cash application reports for management, highlighting any
discrepancies or issues that require attention;
  • Ensure data accuracy when entering customer payment information, including verifying
payment amounts and applying payments to the correct accounts;
  • Handle other related tasks as required by the team or management, including cross-
functional support where needed;
  • Apply customer payments within the ERP system, post information to the correct GL cash
accounts;
  • Investigate unapplied AR payments and assist the Credit and Collections team;
  • Ensure AR subledgers are closed on time according to policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration;
  • 0-2 years in Accounts Receivables;
  • Understanding of accounting principles and SOPs;
  • Experience in reconciling AR and analyzing debits/credits;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Word, and Google Tools;
  • Excellent English skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment;
  • High integrity and adherence to policies and financial regulations.
