dormakaba Bulgaria is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Application Engineers and Industrial Engineers who act as the technical interface between customer requirements and internal production capabilities.

A job that matters: Your Tasks

• Leading and developing our engineering team, fostering collaboration, and building capabilities in customization, standardization, and process optimization
• Ensuring accurate, timely technical documentation and serving as an escalation point for complex challenges
• Driving process improvement, standardization, and lean practices to reduce lead time and rework
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, R&D, Production, Planning, and Quality to ensure seamless integration of customer-specific requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely creation of technical specifications, drawings, and DWOs for customized orders
• Act as escalation point for complex technical or feasibility challenges
• Participate in technical reviews, feasibility studies, and product launch readiness assessments

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years in a team leadership or management role
• Solid experience with technical order processing, application engineering, or product customization
• Strong working knowledge of engineering systems (CAD, PLM, SAP)
• Excellent leadership and people development skills
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production flows
• Structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
