About the Company DevriX is a leading digital solutions company working with Fortune 500 subsidiaries, multinational publishers, and high-traffic digital platforms, processing over 2 billion monthly page views. We build sophisticated data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and custom data solutions for enterprise clients operating at massive scale. We are looking for a Data Engineer who is passionate about building scalable data infrastructure, optimizing performance at scale, and turning billions of data points into actionable insights for global brands. This is a full-time on-site role at our Sofia, Bulgaria office.Key Goals

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines supporting millions of daily events across our client portfolio
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows integrating data from multiple platforms – advertising networks, CRM systems, analytics tools, and custom applications
• Optimize BigQuery schemas and queries for performance and cost-efficiency
• Build automated reporting systems processing millions of events daily
• Implement data quality monitoring and validation processes across high-traffic platforms, generating hundreds of millions of monthly users
• Work with engineering teams to instrument applications for proper data collection
• Architect cloud-based data infrastructure supporting global enterprise clients
• Deliver end-to-end data solutions – from ingestion through transformation to visualization
• Your work will directly influence business decisions for multinational clients across diverse industries

Role Requirements

• Strong SQL skills for complex queries, optimization, and database design at scale
• BigQuery experience – schema design, query optimization
• Python proficiency for data processing, automation, and pipeline development
• Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) for ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline design patterns
• Git workflows and version control
• Experience with web analytics at scale (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
• Ability to work with APIs and integrate data from diverse sources
• Extreme ownership – you take responsibility for data quality and pipeline reliability
• High velocity – you ship working solutions quickly and iterate based on real-world performance

Nice to Have

• Apache Airflow experience for workflow orchestration (highly preferred!)
• Experience with other orchestration tools (Prefect, Dagster)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar)
• Cloud platform experience (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience with CRMs and ERPs (HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, Marketo) and pipelines/workflows around them
• Experience with advertising platforms (Google Ad Manager, Facebook Ads API, programmatic advertising)
• Understanding of high-traffic web infrastructure and content management systems
• Basic understanding of JavaScript for web event tracking and instrumentation!
