Our current client is a technology company working with Scandinavian partners on unique solutions in the maritime industry. On their behalf, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join their dedicated team working on a simulation system for both maritime training and research applications, including navigation, ship-handling, communication, offshore, crisis management, power plant, crane operations, traffic control, as well as coastguard and navy.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the proper maintenance and support of the KDI Business Intelligence Platform in Azure

Databricks;

• Database Design, testing of data-related changes, monitoring of Data pipelines, Power BI

integration;

• Reporting together with building ETL pipelines and maintaining proper CI/CD deployments for the

Current solution;

• Work closely with business users, analysts across KDI, and other stakeholders to ensure the data

infrastructure supports analytics, reporting, and BI dashboards;

• Provided support and troubleshooting for data processing workflows and optimized system

performance;

• Monitor the performance of data processing workflows and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience working with Business Data Analytics Platforms;
• Monitor ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Azure Databricks to automate business

data analytics provisioning;

• Troubleshoot and maintain CI / CD Pipelines;
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob

Storage and Azure SQL Database;

• Integrate data from various business applications sources such as D365 Finance and Operations,

Unit 4, D365 CE, Azure Portal, ensuring data consistency and integrity;

• Extensive Experience in data integrations using Python, SparkSQL, and Scala to clean,

transform and load data into data warehouses in Databricks;

• Experience with Data Modeling projects using Azure Analysis Services in CI/CD Environment.
