Our client, one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world, is looking for Data Engineers to join their Enterprise Engineering Data Platform team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on data-centric projects, supporting multiple business functions such as Operations, Risk Management, and Finance while working with cutting-edge technologies.

About the Role As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing and supporting existing systems and working on greenfield projects aligned with the company's long-term vision. You will work with SQL Server, ETL processes, and reporting tools to effectively manage and process business-critical data.

Key Responsibilities ✔ Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions ✔ Work with SSIS and ETL to design and implement data workflows ✔ Perform query performance tuning, indexing, and database optimization ✔ Collaborate with business teams to understand complex requirements and transform them into efficient data solutions ✔ Assist in data modeling and integration strategies ✔ Follow Agile methodologies and participate in code reviews and continuous integration

Required Skills & Experience ✅ 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer ✅ Strong SQL skills: stored procedures, indexing, query optimization ✅ Hands-on experience with MS SSIS and ETL development ✅ Ability to break down complex business requirements into technical solutions ✅ Exposure to data modeling and database architecture ✅ Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Nice-to-Have Skills ➕ Experience with version control tools (Git, Stash) ➕ Knowledge of Python or C# ➕ Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for reporting
