The concrete position we are looking for the right fit is:

Data Analyst in Controlling Analytics and BI Solutions Department

Brief overview of the role:

Work closely together, on data related strategic topics and initiatives, with executive management and key stakeholders of one of the largest Banks in Bulgaria.

The mission of the role is to be a visionary solution finder and challenger of the status quo through data products of new generation.

You are someone with can-do mindset, passionate about data-driven decision making, are detail-oriented and driven to support the team responsible for Management Information Systems (MIS).

You are thrilled to unlock delivering value of the data to both internal customers and headquarter in Hungary and at the same time to be authentic part of a team armed with data in MIS.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Participate the process of reporting to the OTP Group Hungary via delivering the necessary data and ensure respective data quality as Data owner/Data steward for the data within his/her responsiblity;
• Create new reporting for Steering purposes of the C-level and senior decision takers in the organization, support regulatory reporting related to analytical data;
• Participate in projects related to sourcing new or existing data in MIS and regulatory driven data projects;
• Process challenging: Consult on how selected processes can be optimized, authomated and executed efficiently;

You are the ideal candidate, if you have:

• Previous experience in data management (DWH/Oracle/SQL) and data analysis (data manipulation and automation of reports) well as strategical vision for development of effectively structured databases and the relations between them;
• Result orientation/entrepreneurs mindset with ability to explain the business ground for each metric and what course should business take for the metric to evolve in the desired direction;
• Proactive and initiative being able to make data-driven proposals;
• Problem solving mindset allowing identificati;
• Professional experience in analysis of results from different data models in one process and customer analytics as well as presenting results in a structured and focused manner;
• Ability to analyze big database structures and system processes as data sources, ason of the problem, putting it on the table, explaining possible solutions and defending the best according to him/her;
• Considered an advantage:
• Analytical or financial background – knowledge in financial modelling, IFRS
• Previous experience in credit risk management
• Previous experience as data miner or business/data analyst in a financial or tech company
