Join our dormakaba business services Data Stewards team in Sofia as a Commercial Data Steward to be at the forefront of our key strategic initiatives in the field of commercial productivity through data and digital enablement. Collaborate with stakeholders across the globe to cleanse, enrich or restructure data to enable our processes to run smoother and grow our business through technology. Deep-dive into process, content and system reviews together with business and IT teams to refine process and quality rule definitions, build actionable data quality reports through world-class technology and perform meaningful data cleansing to help us secure our digital enablement roadmap through major ERP and CRM project delivery.
A job that matters: your tasks
- Review, analyse and document the data dimension of the processes in scope of commercial project activities together with the local and global process owners to ensure a stable data process definition for the project scope.
- Define, document, implement and maintain data governance policies, standards and formats required for the delivery and stability of the project deliverables, together with local and global process owners, in accordance with group and legal compliance requirements.
- Define, establish and where appropriate measure, process and systemise data quality criteria (completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness) to safeguard sequential project delivery targets during SIT, UAT and Hypercare periods from data quality issues.
- Perform data profiling, plausibility checks in support of formulating business requirements related to data processes and cleansing activities. Together with IT, local and global process owners, and action cleansing and enrichment actions to ensure the project and business needs are met upfront of project delivery.
- Act as a driver for resolution of reported commercial data issues related to SAP and Commercial Productivity project deliverables together with business and IT stakeholders. Document and report issues to bring visibility to the state of data quality and the business impacts behind data issues. Execute data cleansing activities where possible and appropriate in coordination with the global strategy and available IT landscape.
- Define, validate, build or request the build of data sourcing, transformation and loading pipelines in support of aforementioned project activities, with a focus on commercial project delivery outcomes. Leverage existing automation technologies and low-effort enhancements in the process.
- Cooperate with business, project and program managers, data analysts leads and owners to integrate learnings and actions from the daily business into SAP and Commercial Productivity, alongside other critical priority projects.
- Closely collaborate with and report progress and actionability to the local Commercial & Marketing teams, Global GPO and Data & Analytics teams and dbs towers to ensure sync of activities, priorities and results for the business.
An experience that matters: your skills
- 3+ Data Experience, in an international GBS environment
- Minimum BA, preferably in Business / Accounting / Finance / Economics / Engineering
- E2E process and technical knowledge behind at least one of the data objects in scope.
- Experienced in prioritizing tasks within a Global Business Services organization.
- High attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Ability to systematically identify and own the resolution of data problems.
- Ability to convey complex data topics in an understandable way.
- Listening to and understanding the requirements of the business in workshops and meetings.
- Structured work, setting priorities.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of data protection laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience in data management, in particular Data Quality, Data Governance or Master Data Management.
- SAP ERP experience with core data display, query builder and core business transactions related to SD, MM or PP modules is a major advantage. Data modeling, SQL and ETL exposure is a plus.
- Ability to analyze large datasets, perform data profiling and perform or follow up on cleansing.
- Ability to propose data contents for data objects based on system and process feedback.
