For the Credit Control Department of our Sector Risk, we are currently looking for a CHIEF EXPERT CREDIT POLICY AND ANALYSES.

The responsibilities of the Chief Expert Credit Policy and Analyses are:

• Development and regular review of credit policy manuals and related frameworks;
• Participation in development of new and regular update of current procedures, policies, processes and monitoring/ controlling manuals related to the section activities;
• Establishment and regular review and update of monitoring and controlling tools referring the credit portfolios;
• Preparation of regular monitoring and controlling reports for the Chief Risk Officer and Group Risk Management;
• Evaluation of applications from Business Units regarding new products and amendments in credit criteria set in the credit policies;
• Monitoring of the retail credit risk decision process;
• Monitoring of wholesale borrowers (incl. borrowers’ ratings, execution of regular credit reviews and other related to credit policies’ requirements);
• Coordination and execution of special investigation assignments, or any other analyses referring to loan portfolios and processes. Conduction of the planning stage of the assigned field and thematic reviews/ analyses assignments. Preparation of special reports clearly presenting the conclusions and results of the investigative work, underlining identified issues and recommending solutions for risk mitigation;
• Liaison with various units within the Bank and building of effective partnerships.

The appropriate candidates must meet the following criteria:

• University degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Statistics and/ or other related discipline;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Retail or Wholesale Banking, Credit Risk, Credit Policy, Internal Audit, or other related areas;
• Very good command of MS Excel and MS Access and fluent in Bulgarian and English is obligatory;
• Knowledge of credit granting and credit risk process and principles;
• Experience in working with regulations;
• Experience in analyzing credit risk data;
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills, keen on working with numbers;
• Flexibility to effectively function in a fast-paced environment, attention to details and focus on deliverables within strict deadlines;
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
