Chief Accountant

Under its TexCycle brand, the company offers a variety of recovery services and solutions, including clothing and footwear collection, sorting, repair, retail and recycling.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee the activities of the accounting department;
• Perform annual financial closing activities;
• Prepare annual and interim financial statements;
• Prepare consolidated financial report;
• Monitor and analyze financial and accounting documentation in compliance with National Accounting Standards (NAS);
• Support the company’s commercial operations with information related to sales documentation and other accounting matters;
• Monitor changes in legislation and implement all new requirements and amendments;
• Maintain communication with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other institutions.

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Accounting and Control;
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant for no less than 3 years;
• Excellent knowledge of tax and social security legislation;
• Excellent command of English;
• Strong leadership skills, analytical mindset, accuracy, precision, and high level of personal organization;
• Analytical thinking and willingness to take responsibility;
• Ability to make independent decisions under pressure;
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively;
• Very good computer literacy, including MS Office and experience with accounting software. Experience with Plus Minus accounting software would be considered an advantage.
