Location: Sofia City, Bulgaria
We are looking for an experienced and driven Category Manager to lead the performance and growth of key product categories such as apparel, footwear, equipment, and accessories. In this role, you will shape and execute category strategies, optimize product assortment, and deliver a compelling in-store and omnichannel customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, grow market share, and respond to industry trends
- Partner with buyers and merchandisers to build a strong, customer-focused product assortment aligned with seasonal and brand strategies
- Analyze sales performance, KPIs, and trends to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns, seasonal activities, and product launches to drive engagement and sales
- Define and monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while protecting margins
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to enhance product presentation and visual standards, improving customer experience and conversion
- Work closely with inventory teams to optimize stock levels, reduce shortages, and manage excess inventory
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, store management) to ensure consistent execution of initiatives
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the direct or functional manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in retail sales management, ideally within the sport retail industry
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong MS Office skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent analytical and planning abilities
