For our Advanced analytics and modelling department we are currently looking for a motivated data scientist who would fit into the position

Business and data analytics Expert

The main responsibilities for the position include:

• Development of statistical models, machine learning and other analytical solutions in the Business domain (propensity-to-buy, churn, clients’ segmentation, etc.);
• Optimization and performance improvement of the models that are currently in use;
• Validation and maintenance of data models and advanced analyses promoting data-driven decision-making across the institution;
• Exploration of opportunities contributing to better utilization of the available data for obtaining relevant insights. For instance, enrichment of the pool of potential data sources via data wrangling of raw (unstructured) input;
• Design and construct data visualization reports and promote BI tools;
• Support the implementation of scalable and efficient infrastructural solutions for data analytics.

Our requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Banking, Statistics, Econometrics or applicable science;
• At least 1 year of experience in the field of big data management and advanced methods for data modeling and predictive analysis. Years of experience and qualification will be reflected in the seniority of the expert position;
• Previous experience within the area of data science or data analytics will be as considered a strong advantage;
• Comprehension of banking products, processes and operations;
• Ability to work with and analyze precisely large volumes of data through statistical approaches as well as data visualization tools;
• Excellent technical skills and advanced usage of Python and MS SQL functionalities in a data-focused full-stack environment;
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably, Microsoft Azure) will be considered as an advantage;
• Result orientation and project management skills;
• Good fit with corporate values and culture;
• Fluency in English;
