We are looking for: Backup Infrastructure Engineer

Your daily routine would include:

• Independently implementing requirements in the area of backup infrastructure;
• Creation and documentation of technical concepts and architecture planning in the area of backup, A1 internally and in the ITO environment;
• Coordination and execution of backup infrastructure projects (life cycle, system extensions,…);
• Performing standard backup administration tasks internally and in customer environments;
• Being responsible for the development of one/several strategic topics (innovation topics);
• Providing 24×7 IT operations support in a team on a rotation and on-call basis;
• Actively shaping processes and workflows.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience of Backup Administration experience;
• Solid experience in configuration and administration of Commvault;
• Solid experience in configuration and administration of Veeam (Backup & Replication, Cloudconnect, M365 Backup);
• Experience in designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery solutions;
• Strong problem and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think outside the box to drive issues to resolution;
• Structured and independent working style;
• Very good interpersonal skills to interact with team members and management;
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
