About the role
We are searching for an enthusiastic self-starter to join Kallidus’s technology team. As a Graduate Engineer, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, and attending meetings and workshops to gain practical experience.
Our core stack is C# and .Net. We have a distributed microservices architecture with a few of different data sources and automated CI/CD pipelines that target our Azure cloud infrastructure. We are still constantly learning and, where appropriate, incorporate the latest technologies for our products. For all that to run smoothly we’re looking to expand our QA automation layer.
You will thrive in this role if you are someone who enjoys problem-solving, creating solutions and experimenting with technology.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Participate in on-the-job training wherever possible Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Learn the products and improving your QA skills. Create logs to document testing phases and defects Execute and add test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results. Help troubleshoot issues. Reporting bugs and errors and follow through with the rest of the development team Conduct research and assisting the team wherever possible
Skills, experience and behaviours
Knowledge or experience in the following is useful: software development, QA testing activities, C# (.NET), Microservices and distributed systems, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum An academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable Previous work experience is not necessary, but may be advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow Attention to detail A positive attitude and a growth mindset Additional Skills considered as good to have
Initial experience wit Automation testing Experience with QA and testing activities Experience with Gherkin/SpecFlow Experience with JavaScript An academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
