Our current client is the local partner of a global leader in airport ground services and air cargo handling. On their behalf, we are looking for Accounting Specialists with German, French, Polish or Czech, who would be willing to join their expanding team in Sofia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of vendor invoices, subcontractor costs, and related accruals.
  • Monitor and verify cost allocations between subcontracting partners and internal cost centers.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance to ensure timely and compliant invoice flow.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for management, focusing on subcontracting expenses and cost development.
  • Participate in audits and provide documentation related to subcontracting agreements.


Key Requirements

  • Accounts Payable experience is a strong advantage;
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar qualification;
  • Previous experience in Accounting, ideally with exposure to subcontracting or service provider management;
  • Strong expertise in bank postings, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities;
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of IFRS or HGB is an advantage;
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented way of working;
  • Experience working with auditors (internal/external);
  • Fluent English skills; German, French, Polish or Czech is a plus.
