We are looking for a colleague who combines accounting expertise, analytical thinking, and a passion for driving business transformation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in the implementation of the new core banking system, participate in defining accounting requirements and processes into a modern technological environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document accounting processes and controls to ensure their effective implementation within the new core banking system.
• Ensure the successful application of accounting knowledge, rules, and requirements into new technological solutions.
• Actively participate in transformation and process optimization projects.
• Participate in system testing activities and verify compliance with accounting, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting controls to ensure the accounting data quality.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for improving processes, controls, and system functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with accounting, business, and IT teams to deliver transformation initiatives and projects.

You are the right fit for this role if you have

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in an audit company, financial or bank institution.
• Good knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
• Experience with business process analysis and optimization will be considered an advantage.
• Very good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of SQL will be considered an advantage.
