Accounting Operations Expert

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Accounting Operations Expert is part of our Internal Finance team and support the end-to-end accounting activities, including:
  • Month-end and year-end closing based on IFRS (месечно приключване на база нa МСФО)
  • Year-end closing statutory based on the local legislation (годишно приключване според българското законодателство)
  • Balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis (проследяване и равняване на баллансите по сметките на месечна база)
  • Prepaid expense and accrual postings (осчетоводяване и проследяване на разходи за бъдещи периоди и текущи начисления)
  • Maintenance of non-current assets register (завеждане и проследяване на ДМА на дружеството)
  • Delivers accurate, complete, and timely accounting information.
  • Prepares monthly, annual and ad hoc financial reports in accordance with deadlines.
  • Manages continuous improvement projects and participates in initiatives for the improvement of the General Accounting function.
  • Preserves and transfers knowledge to other team members.
  • Works extensively with peers from other departments.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

Minimum 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, multinational environment.

Experience with Bulgarian Financial & Accounting Framework.

Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a business-related subject.

Excellent command of English - both verbal and written.

Experience of ERP is essential, and knowledge of SAP is advantage.

Experienced user of Microsoft applications (particularly Excel).

Past involvement in complex projects requiring multi-functional team working will be considered an advantage.

Very good communication skills and stakeholder management.

Proactive approach, “can do” attitude, and good goal setting skills.
