Join Hiab as an Accountant, Transactional Excellence and take charge of end-to-end accounting processes for selected countries—from month-end close and intercompany transactions to fixed assets and financial reporting.

You’ll ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls, provide cross-training and support to your team, and handle ad-hoc requests. Main tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for managing end-to-end accounting activities for selected countries and processes. These include month-end general ledger close, periodization, fixed asset creation, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.

Provide accounting services: deliver services in line with agreed controls and procedures; ensure that data is accurate in company systems; recognize unusual events and work with supervisors to resolve the case; and participate in transition activities.

Comply with internal control procedures and accounting policies in compliance with company accounting standards ensure all the documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Provide cross training and back-up support for roles in the area of Record-to Report; handle ad-hoc requests

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education:

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Experience:

2-4 years of relevant experience in finance operations

Competencies:

Experience with simple to complex query handling

Good MS-office skills, ERP knowledge

Process knowledge on RTR

Strong team player

Problem solving attitude

To demonstrate analytical skills

Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices

Proficiency of written and oral English
