Our client is an international company based in Varna. Their team is expanding, and they are looking for an Accountant.
Professional Requirements:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role; Practical experience with month-end closing, VAT reporting, and accounting documentation; Good understanding of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation; Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment; MS Office with very good knowledge of MS Excel; German is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Processing and recording accounting documents in accordance with local legislation and internal policies; Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes; Preparation and submission of VAT returns and related reports; Monitoring accounts, reconciling balances, and resolving discrepancies; Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data; Maintaining communication with internal departments and external partners; Assisting the Chief Accountant with ad-hoc financial and accounting tasks.
